Foster volunteer opportunities

Through Animal Humane Society's foster program, thousands of animals have received special care before getting a second chance. More than 2,000 animals who come to AHS each year require foster care before they're ready to find new homes, and this need continues to increase. Learn more about foster volunteer opportunities

Community Outreach

The Community Outreach program provides community-based education and resources for pet owners living in Frogtown and East St Paul area. Outreach volunteers help distribute flyers, attend tabling events, bag dog food, perform data entry work and more. Learn more about available opportunities.

Training School Support

Animal Humane Society's Training School helps pets and their owners learn real-life skills, taught by our experienced training staff. With classes every day at four locations, you can assist our trainers as they help bring out the best in the pets in our community. Learn more about volunteering with our training school.

Group volunteer opportunities

Your group can support our work and the animals in our care by coordinating and participating in offsite group service projects (like making toys, collecting and donating items from our “wish list,” or holding a fundraiser). Learn more about group volunteering at AHS.
