Puppy playgroups give your puppy the chance to socialize and play with other puppies in their size and age category. They take place each week at our Golden Valley location. 

Online registration opens the Wednesday prior to each playgroup, and space is limited! Please register your puppy according to the age and size categories provided below. If a different group is more suitable, the trainers will refer you to that group after your first playgroup attendance. 

Cost: $15/session. 

Puppy playgroups are not included with a training pass purchase.

Puppy playgroup categories by age and size

Petite Breed Puppy Playgroup (up to 6 months) 

Designed for our smallest breed puppies, ages 2-6 months old. These puppies are expected to be under 20 pounds at their adult weight and include:

• Bichon Frise
• Cavalier King Charles Spaniels
• Chihuahuas
• Maltese
• Mini Dachshunds
• Papillions
• Pugs
• Shih Tzus
• Toy and Mini Poodles
• Westies
• Yorkshire Terriers

Small/Medium Breed Puppy Playgroup (up to 6 months)

Designed for small and medium breed puppies, ages 2-6 months old. These puppies are expected to be 20-45 pounds at their adult weight and include:

• Basset Hounds
• Beagles
• Boston Terriers
• Cocker Spaniels
• Corgis
• French Bulldogs
• Mini American Shepherds
• Mini Poodle Mixes
• Mini Schnauzers

Large Breed Playgroups  

Designed for large breed dogs in varying age groups. These puppies are expected to be over  45 pounds at their adult weight, and include:

• Australian Shepherds
• Boxers
• German Shepherds
• Golden Retrievers
• Labs
• Large hounds
• Pitbull Terriers
• Springer Spaniels
• Standard Poodles

Register for the appropriate age group provided below. If it is your first time attending, we recommend you register for the 2-4 month group to start with. 

• Large Breed Puppy Playgroup (2-4 months)
• Large Breed Tween Playgroup (4-5 months)

Vaccinations

All pets should be kept current on vaccinations in accordance with their pet's licensed veterinarian's recommendations.

At minimum, puppies attending playgroups should have started their distemper/parvo series, and puppies age four months old or older should be current on their rabies and bordetella vaccinations as well.
