Due to high call volume, you may experience a significant wait time. Thank you for your patience!
Pet Helpline Representatives are unable to give medical advice regarding your pet. Please relay any questions you have regarding your pet’s medical condition to your veterinarian, local animal hospital or other qualified veterinary provider.
Surrender appointment wait time
Like many organizations, Animal Humane Society is currently experiencing significant staffing challenges that impact our capacity to provide services to the public. As a result, the wait time for non-emergency surrender appointments is currently 2-4 weeks. Thank you for your patience as we work to address these challenges.
