Animal Humane Society is the proud recipient of a $11,985 grant awarded by BISSELL Pet Foundation. The grant will help fund our spay and neuter efforts, which dramatically reduce the number of unwanted litters in our community.
In 2019, AHS performed 12,572 spay/neuter surgeries prior to adoption, and more than 10,200 animals were sterilized for pet owners through our Veterinary Centers. Over 1,500 pets received this surgery for free as part of our Community Outreach program.
