Project Purpose is a unique opportunity for kids age 12-16 to get involved at AHS. The goal of Project Purpose is to educate kids about the work AHS does while empowering them to help make the world a better place for animals! Each program will include education AHS and animal welfare, a behind the scenes tour of the shelter, a meaningful service project unique to AHS, and more. Project Purpose can be used to fulfill school or club community service requirements.
As we'll work behind the scenes of the shelter, we ask each child wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothing that can get dirty. Because this program is focused on community service projects, participants shouldn't expect significant animal contact.There is no cost to participate in Project Purpose. Snacks will be provided.
Project Purpose is currently available at our Golden Valley location, 5-8 p.m.
