The Student Volunteer Experience is uniquely-designed program for high school students entering grades 10-12 and recent high school graduates who want to volunteer with AHS over the course of one summer.
The Community Outreach program provides community-based education and resources for pet owners who historically have not engaged with AHS or other animal welfare programs. Outreach volunteers help distribute flyers, attend tabling events, bag dog food, perform data entry work and more. Community Outreach is not currently accepting new applications.
Volunteers with Kindest Cut assist with client interactions and surgical materials preparation for low-cost spay and neuter services at our Melrose Animal Clinic in Golden Valley. Kindest Cut also travels frequently and volunteers have the option to help in many areas of the state. Apply here.
