Community Outreach

The purpose of the Community Outreach program at AHS is to create a more humane world for animals by providing community-based education and resources for pet owners who historically have not engaged with AHS or other animal welfare programs.  Some of the volunteer opportunities include distributing flyers, attending tabling events, bagging dog food,  doing data entry or making follow up phone calls to members of under-engaged communities in the Twin Cities. Community Outreach is not currently accepting new applications, but please check back as we hope to begin accepting applications again soon! Apply here.
