The Pack is a unique program designed for students in grades 7-9. Beginning in January, students will meet weekly, every Thursday, from 4 to 6 PM, at Animal Humane Society's Veterinary Center on University Avenue in St. Paul.
Each week, we’ll explore a new topic focused on animals, our community, and ourselves. There will be time for guest speakers, games, service projects, and visits with animals. Plus, you’ll find ways to help people and animals living in your community, as well as explore career options in animal welfare!
In this five-month program you’ll learn about a variety of topics, including:
- community outreach and advocacy
- animal welfare and legislation
- animal-related careers
- exotic species
- and more!
Registration is currently limited to 10 participants. The Spring session will begin in January and end in May of 2022. Specific dates will be provided in the coming weeks!
Participants must either live in St. Paul or be a client of AHS's Veterinary Centers.
There is no fee for The Pack. All participants will receive a free T-shirt!
