Important update on spay/neuter services for rescue partners

Animal Humane Society's vet centers continue to see increasing wait times and pending requests for spay/neuter surgery. We currently have a waitlist of more than 450 rescue animals, in addition to pets of families seeking similar services.

As a result, we've suspended new requests from rescue partners for spay/neuter services. We expect this suspension to be in place for a minimum of six weeks. During this time, we'll be working through the backlog as efficiently as we can while balancing the needs of our public clients.

We know wait times have been difficult for everyone and we appreciate your partnership and understanding as we work to manage the demand for low-cost veterinary services.
