Preventative care is one of the keys to keeping your pets healthy and protecting them from common diseases.
Animal Humane Society's Kindest Cut program offers high-quality, low-cost wellness services to pet owners with limited incomes, military personnel and veterans, feral cat caretakers, and nonprofit rescue organizations.
Walk-in wellness appointments
Wellness services are offered at Melrose Animal Clinic in Golden Valley. Walk-in appointments are welcome:
- Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 9 a.m. ‒ 4 p.m. (staff break from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch)
- Saturdays: 9 a.m. ‒ 1 p.m.
When you and your pet arrive, we will provide an approximate time your pet will be seen. The last patient is seen at 3:20 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and at 12:20 p.m. on Saturdays.
Due to the nature of veterinary medicine and the unpredictable flow of patients, please be aware that wait times can be unpredictable and that we may reach capacity for walk-ins before the designated end time. We apologize for any inconvenience or long wait you may encounter while seeking care for your pet. Thank you for your patience!
