Tuck animals in for the night at our Pets and Pajamas Party!

Pets and Pajamas Party is full!  New sessions coming soon!

Join us for a special Rescue Readers session Saturday, February 2, 5-7 p.m., at our Golden Valley shelter. At this after-hours party, kids ages 8-11 are encouraged to wear their pjs as they read to the animals, calming them before bedtime.

After reading time, readers will decorate a Valentine’s Day card for their favorite animals. The card will be addressed to potential adopters, highlighting what makes this animal so special. Each card will be placed on the kennel cards for the public to admire.

After we decorate cards, the kids will also have an opportunity to spend time petting/playing with an animal.

Please note: Unlike our typical Rescue Readers programs, this event is for kids only and an orientation is not required.
