From Future Vet Workshops to Paint My Pet events, AHS offers a wide variety of programs for every member of your animal-loving family! Spend time with our shelter animals in our Rescue Readers program, or empower your child to make the world a better place for animals in our Project Purpose program. 

AHS offers full- and half-day camps throughout the summer serving animal-loving youth entering grades 3-10. We create a unique experience for campers, so they can return to our programs year after year. 

Whether your child has dreams of pursuing a career in animal medicine, they’re a creative soul looking to make a difference, or they simply love learning about animals, our camps are the perfect summer activity. 

We offer many ways for schools or community groups to get involved with animal welfare and provide specific programs for Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. Visit us at one of our shelter locations for interactive, educational content or invite an AHS humane educator to your school or program site. Plus, explore a host of resources for school and service projects or online learning.
