Donate new or gently used items

We welcome donations of new and gently used items that can be used in our shelters, clinics, and community outreach work. Please see the lists below for items we can and cannot accept.

You may drop off donated items in designated areas inside the adoption entrance of our Coon Rapids, Golden Valley, and Woodbury locations during regular business hours.

Online purchases can be shipped directly to our Golden Valley shelter at 845 Meadow Ln N, Golden Valley, MN 55422.

Donate newspaper

Donate items from our Chewy and Amazon wish lists

To make donating simple, we've curated an Amazon and Chewy wish list with specific items that we need and use regularly in our shelters. When you purchase through one of these wish lists, you can ship items directly to our Golden Valley location.

View our Amazon Wish List or our Chewy Wish List for specific items we're looking for.

New Chewy users also have another opportunity to give back. Through the Chewy Gives Back program, $15 of your first purchase from Chewy (from our wish list or not!) is donated back to AHS when you use our referral link.
