Another shelter was caring for me before I came to Animal Humane Society to find a home.
I’ll be a loving companion, but it may take me a little longer to acclimate to new people and new environments. A quieter, low-activity home would allow me the opportunity to get used to new things at my own pace.
Affectionate cats like me enjoy close interactions and snuggling. I might be a little shy or bashful as I adapt to a new environment, but that should be easy in a home with moderate activity.
I was diagnosed with the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), a condition that is contagious to other cats. I am part of Animal Humane Society’s hospice program because cats with FeLV have a shorter life expectancy, but with proper care and management, I could live many months to years in good health. If you have any questions about my special needs, please see a staff member or volunteer.
