Hi! My name is Koda.

Another shelter was caring for me before I came to Animal Humane Society to find a home.

People describe me as affectionate. Affectionate cats often enjoy close interactions and snuggling. We can also be a little bit shy or bashful as we adapt to a new environment, a process that may be easier in homes that have moderate activity.

People also describe me as shy. Shy cats are loving companions that take longer to acclimate to a new environment. A quieter, low-activity home would allow me the opportunity to get used to new things at my own pace.

Additional Information

Koda came to AHS from another shelter and when surrendered was found to be positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV cats have shorter life expectancies, however if provided proper care and management, cats with FIV can live many years in good health. Koda has a unique condition that calls for a unique adopter – an animal lover who can give him the kind of home he deserves and be willing to do the special things managing this condition could require. Please see our additional information posted about FIV.
