Creative ways to include your dog in your wedding

Our pets are family, and that means including them in all of life’s biggest milestones — including the day you say, “I do.” If you’re getting married soon, including your dog can be a wonderful way to celebrate.

From including your pup in your wedding party to capturing your bond in photographs, we’re sharing all of the dos and don’ts for including your dog in your wedding.

Animal Humane Society's Wine Dinner 2024
Raise a glass for animals in need

Join us on Sunday, June 23 at Wine Dinner, an evening featuring progressive courses by some of the Twin Cities' top culinary minds, expertly paired wines (and non-alcoholic options!), and the chance to bid on exclusive auction items – all to benefit animals in need.

From suppli with local Gouda and artichoke veloute to smoked short rib cabbage rolls, this is a meal you’ll never forget. Secure your spot at Wine Dinner by June 3 to indulge in this one-of-a-kind culinary event and help us make a difference for animals in our community.

Pet resource fair at Animal Humane Society
Donate pet supplies to help pet parents in your community

From pet food to cat litter to flea/tick preventatives, the Community Outreach program at AHS has a consistent need for pet supplies – and that need is even larger in the summer.

Now through June 9, AHS is hosting a Community Outreach Supply Drive to gather necessary resources to support more pets and their families in our community. Drop off new or gently used pet supplies at any of our three shelter locations during business hours.

Thank you for sharing your heart with animals

On May 4, 2024, thousands of animal lovers gathered in celebration at the Walk for Animals — Animal Humane Society's largest fundraising event of the year. The Walk is always an inspiring reminder of the incredible impact we can have on animals when we come together — and this year was no exception.

Thank you for standing with Animal Humane Society and making a difference in the lives of animals. We're so grateful for our animal-loving community.
