Tommy's story: Loss and perseverance

Tommy was found with his brother, Percy, huddled together for warmth in a box beside a railroad track. On a cold winter day, a compassionate animal lover heard the whimpering of the puppies and brought them to Animal Humane Society, where they could finally get the care they desperately needed.

Tommy had an uphill battle to recovery, especially after the unfortunate passing of his brother, but he continued to fight. Our veterinary staff provided around-the-clock care to warm and nourish Tommy, and against all odds, he transformed into the happy, playful puppy he had always deserved to be.
