Unleashed Express Mini Day Camps

Our new Unleashed Express mini camps are 1- and 2-day programs designed to provide fun, educational activities for animal-loving kids on no-school days. Participants in Unleashed Express camps will enjoy a variety of animal-related activities*, such as:

Service projects to enrich the lives of AHS animals: building cat beds and toys, filling treats for dogs, and making snuggle nests for wildlife
CSI-style science activities to investigate animal-related mysteries
Assist with morning feeding routines to learn about daily animal care at AHS
Attend "Pet University", a series of hands-on stations that reinforce concepts of pet responsibility
See a rabbit agility demonstration and learn about rabbit training
Make kennel cards to encourage adoptions and design posters to educate shelter visitors about pet responsibility
Use rewards-based training methods to encourage good behavior in shelter dogs
Animal-themed crafts and games
and more!

* This is a sampling of activities from previous Unleashed Express camps. Actual activities for each camp session may vary.

Registration fee for Unleashed Express mini camps is $40 for 1-day camps or $80 for 2-day camps. This cost includes two days of Unleashed Express activities and two snacks per day. Campers must bring a lunch each day.
