Wally

Wally

January 2, 2011, was a typical day at my house. Not much was going on, until my mom randomly said, "Let's go get a kitten." So we decided to go to the Animal Humane Society and get a kitten.

Going to the Golden Valley Animal Humane Society, we went into the cat room and looked at some of the cats and kittens. None of them really stuck an interest with us. Until we saw Wally (He used to be Jax.) We asked the lady who was working to get him out, and the poor kitten wouldn't even let her touch him. She finally got him out, and we got him to a visitation room.

At first he was scared, but then he warmed up with my mom while I went to look at other cats. I went back into the visitation room and my mom told me to hold him. When I did, Wally stuck his head under my chin and started to purr. We both knew that he was the one.

Now, Wally is happily settled in and the best little kitten anybody could ask for. He's playful, cuddles with me, and he sleeps with me at night. Adopting Wally was one of the best things we could have done. He has brought so much joy into our lives.
