Smoke

Smoke is wonderful. She's always been friendly and full of kisses for everyone and we've done our best to encourage her natural personality. She seems to think all people were put on this earth to pat her, all dogs (and cats) are here for her to play with, and all squirrels exist for her to chase. I take her with me everywhere so she's growing up relaxed and confident in any environment, although she's a bundle of energy and enthusiasm. We have a big yard completely fenced for her and we go for long walks everyday in one of several parks. She loves the cold and the snow but then she seems to love most everything. When she really wants us to play outside she finds the biggest stick she can, knowing she's irresistible with a huge stick in her mouth.

Recently she learned that small dogs or young puppies that might be intimidated can usually be convinced to play if she lets them chase her. In the mornings when we wake up, the first thing we do is cuddle with her. Right now she's napping at my feet. She's just a joy in our lives, always cheerful, playful, full of love, and always there for us.
