Simon and Sophie

Simon and Sophie

I had some spare time after a meeting so I visited the Golden Valley AHS. I love animals but wasn't really looking to bring one home. Then I saw Simon.

He was in the cat room with several other cats. I looked in the window and he was sitting right in front of the door staring up at me with his big brown eyes. He let out a big 'meeeeoooooooow' as if to say "take me home now!" He was so cuddly and loving, I knew I couldn't leave without him. His personality is unlike any other and boy does he like to talk! He's been a blessing.

A year later, my husband and I decided to look for a companion for Simon. We stopped into the Coon Rapids AHS and saw a pretty little lilac-point Balinese smooshed up as close as she could get to another cat in the tiniest round cat bed. There really wasn't room for them both but that didn't seem to bother Sophie. She couldn't get close enough! I knew she would be perfect!

We brought her home and right away Sophie attached herself to Simon. He wasn't too sure about her at first but it didn't take long before the two of them became two peas in a pod. She follows him everywhere and you never see one without the other. We love them so much! Thank you!
