Sassy

We adopted Sassy, an adult black Lab, from the Woodbury Animal Humane Society. Sassy had a litter of puppies with her and a fractured hip so she had been through a lot. We were able to meet her while in foster care and immediately fell in love with her. She has been an amazing addition to our family and we can’t imagine our lives without her.

Sassy loves playing catch with the ball outside - she could run for days! When she comes into the house she goes directly for her stuffed hedgehog, which she will place on your lap hoping you will throw it for her. When guests come over and they pick up the hedgehog, they become Sassy’s friend for life. She will not leave them alone!

Sassy has also been very social in our neighborhood, making friends with all the other neighborhood dogs. If they see her outside they are always sure to come over for a friendly sniff and to say hello.  She is the envy of all the neighbors because of her calm demeanor and quiet voice.

The match between Sassy and our family was a perfect one. We feel so lucky to have her!
