Pinky

In 2006, my husband Aaron and I decided to adopt a cat since we recently moved to Minnesota and my childhood cat stayed in Ohio with my parents. We headed over to the Animal Humane Society in Woodbury and Pinky caught our attention right away.  We were specifically looking to adopt an adult male cat and Pinky met all the criteria. We came to learn that he was dropped off five days earlier due to his owner passing away. Pinky had spent four years with this owner and now he was desperately looking for a new home. We took him into a play room and it didn't take any time at all for him to warm up to us. Five years later Pinky is a family member that brings us so much joy and happiness.  He is always waiting at the door for us when we come home and he is always looking for a lap to take a nap on.
