Lola

Lola

We adopted Lola in October of 2006. She was scruffy, dirty, and as we were soon to discover, suffering from a nasty head cold. She was just a tiny little thing with the biggest ears we'd ever seen on a kitten.

We weren't planning on adopting a kitten that day, but once we held Lola, we knew that we had to bring her home with us. She sat on my lap the half hour drive home, purring the whole way. Instead of hiding when we brought her inside, she sat on my boyfriend's shoulder on the sofa and just looked around (still purring).

She has a wonderful personality, and loves to play. As shown in the attached picture, whenever Hugo is working on a project, Lola is right by his side "helping". Lola has been such a fun buddy to both of us for the past two and a half years; we really can't imagine our lives without her.
