Ginny

We have found the perfect dog. Ginny was at the Animal Humane Society in Buffalo. I had gone to visit her a few weeks before and fell instantly in love with her. I asked my husband to come and meet her. He was reluctant as our previous dog had passed away in November and he was still feeling very sad about that. He met Ginny and liked her a lot. She seemed as if she would be a perfect fit for us. She was very friendly, happy, and we never heard one bark out of her. We decided to think about it overnight. I bugged my husband all the next day about going to get Ginny. Finally, on his way home from work, he told me to check the hours at the shelter and if they were open we would go get her. I was shocked and very disappointed when I checked the website and saw that she had been adopted. I knew she was perfect for us.

A week later I checked the website and saw her picture back on the adoptable animals page. I was very excited. The next day we packed up the family and our four kids met Ginny. She was so gentle and good with them. We brought her home on the evening of April 6th. An hour  after she arrived, she had made herself completely at home. It's as if she has always been here. She has blended in perfectly with us. She keeps the kids playing together in the yard. She's a great walker. She does not beg or have any interest in human food. She loves her kibble. She loves being outside. She loves sleeping in our bed. She lets the kids crawl all over her and loves licking everyone. We are amazed at what a great dog she is. I've never met a more well-behaved dog. Ginny is awesome!
