Fudge

We adopted Fudge the chow/lab mix two years ago from the Woodbury Animal Humane Society. On the card attached to his kennel was a note that said, "I am a very sweet boy." How true that was! We have loved every day with our Fudgie and we couldn't have found a more perfect or laid back dog! When we took him out at the shelter, we took him through all of our ‘tests.’ When he patiently and gladly went along with our kids as they walked him we were won over! I chuckle all the time on our walks as the kids hold his leash and he trots along, ears bobbing. He is beyond wonderful with our kids and loves walks, the dog park, and just being with us. I highly recommend adopting, and don't want people to forget about the older dogs! Fudge is about 10 years old now, and was 8 when we adopted him. Also, he is a black dog which can make it harder to get adopted, so don't pass the black dogs up! Everyone who meets our Fudge falls in love and we were no exception.
