Coco is a very interesting character. When we adopted her in February she was so wild we almost regreted our decision to save a puppy. We already had a 7-year-old golden retriever and thought a new addition to the household may make him more active and playful. For the first week or so there were some power struggles over toys and territories, but now the dogs are best friends. Coco is very demanding of our attention and is into everything. She can be pretty naughty at times but she has made
dramatic improvements and has learned boundaries and quite a few commands.
Sometimes we wonder what her previous life was like because she is so clingy and needy for attention. She is very loving, especially in the evening when she is slowing down and not as playful. She enjoys the outdoors and loves to sneak up on birds in the yard. She loves walks and has become very easy to take on walks. Overall, we have grown to love her and she is now part of our family and I couldn't imagine her not being here. There are still some trying times but we know that she is still a puppy and needs more training. She has come so far in three months and we can tell that she will be an awesome companion for a long time. We are so happy that we adopted a puppy who needed a loving home.
