Cleo

It all started as a trip to the Animal Humane Society to look at a guinea pig. We couldn't resist walking through the dog part of the shelter. We walked all the way around the kennels looking at the puppies until we came to the last kennel. We then saw a big black dog laying in her bed, she looked sad. We read her papers and found out she was an 11-year-old black Lab mix named Cleo, whose family was unable to keep her due to traveling for work. We just knew at that moment that we loved her and wanted to bring her home. We met with her in a visiting room and knew we had to get her, but were unable to that day. When they put her back in her kennel she barked at us. That is the only time we have ever heard her bark. We went back two days later and brought her home with us.

She has 3 dog brothers (Remer, Rascal and Charlie), a roommate named Allen (Cockatiel), and 7 humans who love her to pieces. She loves stuffed animals, especially her pink pig. She is a wonderful and precious addition to our family!
