Surrendering an animal

At the Animal Humane Society, animals come to us for a variety of different reasons, from family surrenders or strays and from being rescued by our Special Case Response and Humane Investigations teams. We want each of them to have a happy and loving home and we are proud to be an open-admission facility—we serve all people and animals, regardless of their circumstances. No one is turned away at our open doors.
