Shelter Tours for Groups

Explore the Animal Humane Society with a visit to one of our five locations for a group tour led by one of our professional humane educators.  Tours can be scheduled on weekdays, some evenings, and Saturdays. Learn more about the history of AHS, the animals we work with, the services we provide to animals and the community, and more.

Tours are offered throughout the year by appointment, and can often be combined with a classroom education program.

Please note that evening and weekend tour schedules typically fill up 6-8 weeks in advance; please call early for best availability.

Cost: $1 per person (including adults/chaperones; $10 minimum per group)
Length of tour: 60 minutes
Group size: 10-40 people (varies by location; please call for details)

Participants must be at least 6 years old

For more information, please call (763) 489-2220 or contact Education online.

The time, preparation and coordination you offered were very worthwhile. The students enjoyed the visit and had an inside view of a complex work setting, which will assist them as they begin to plan towards future education, career development, and life contributions.” -- Teacher, Minnehaha Academy
