Any information that would be helpful for the person finding your pet to know?:
I brought her in to surrender. she had just given birth to 5 kittens, I wanted to keep her badly, but I also wanted what was best for her, Financially strapped at the time it was a heartbreaking decision. Through a series of events I was granted funding with a lady who would pay for and provide care for all of them, but the call came that evening. The next morning I contacted the Coon Rapids Humane Society and I was told they were no longer at that facility but were transferred to Golden Valley. When I contacted Golden Valley I was told (in my words) it appeared they went to a private home. Somewhere for temp. fostering. I watched the animal humane society post frequently. I lived in Andover at the time, and surrendered to Coon Rapids A-H. why they never were posted I do not know, I was told they would be posted for adoption on the AHS site. she was not spayed. I was told they would be chipping prior to adopting out. However, I was also told she would be on the web site and I never saw her. I was also told she would stay at Coon Rapids, and she did not. I was told I could not have her back I would have to adopt her I was ok with that.. I just never heard about them again. Her ID was # A 13809042 and is remarkably similar to a new post Id# 19214490. even to the marks under the eye. but she looks awful if this is her. I was told I could not see her until the 27th of Feb. When she comes off stray hold. I know I surrendered her,but if she just fell off the grid somewhere fine. if she was not ever brought back to the humane society for spaying or chipping so what, I am asking to please not be upset with me but to understand, the date was Aug. 16th 2011. If there is no record of what may have happened to her besides... went to a temp. foster until weaning was done...than please let me know. It took me this long to deal with this, now I see this picture. Please someone help me know. I think the Humane Society is awesome!!! I believe what they do is great. I know they were extremely swamped due to extreme heat at this time and a lot of strays being brought in off the streets. and a lot of temp. help. I know things happen. I want this to be strips, I want to adopt her. yet she looks so neglected and sad... I hope I have not discouraged any one. I was not expecting this. I have a diff. cat I am looking for that was her brother when I came upon this. He was not a surrendered pet .
