When you bring a new pet into your home, everyone in the family should be ready to share the joys, challenges, and responsibilities involved in caring for that pet. The Pet Parenting Workshop is designed to help families explore and prepare for pet ownership.  Workshop topics will include:

• How to choose the right pet for your family
• General care information for a variety of animals
• Staying safe around pets
• Pet myths and truths
• Local laws relating to pet ownership
• Information and resources for pet training

Participating families will leave the worskhop with lots of great information, as well as a take-home packet filled with additional resources and a reusable chart to track daily pet-related responsibilities.
