I’ve been with the Animal Humane Society for 27 years.  Eighteen of them in the Animal Care department, and I’ve worked in the boarding department since the beggining.  I grew up on a farm in central Minnesota, and have been around animals my whole life.  I have a dog and 2 cats.  “Tess” and “Frankie” are pictured with me here.  I love all kinds of animals! I’ve got two great kids and a new granddaughter.  It has always been very rewarding working at the Animal Humane Society. We take care of your pets like we take care of our own!

When I was little, I always preferred the company of animals over humans.  I was very shy and learned how to read by reading to my dog and cats. Naturally, I loved to volunteer at shelters in my home town.

For the last three years, I have been employed at Animal House and I truly enjoy working here every single day.  It is a pleasure to take care of our boarding guests and to serve our customers.

At home, we are being taken care of by “Coco”, a seven year old Corgi mix, and two cats, three year old “Meowwe”, and seven year old “Comet”.

Growing up, I spent a lot of time on my Grandpa’s farm. This gave me a passion for caring for animals. Besides working at Animal House, I am a volunteer animal rescuer that goes out when a disaster strikes or other assistance in needed.  This is my dog “Mable."
