The Animal Humane Society’s Humane Investigation team spends their days seeking justice for animals—from tiny birds to majestic horses. The small department of only two full-time agents covers the state, responding to complaints from veterinarians, law enforcement agencies and ordinary citizens who care about the welfare of animals.
