Lost and Found Pet Central

You may have a lot of questions right now. You've searched for your lost family pet and need to know what to do now that you haven't found it. Or you've found a stray animal and aren't sure what to do.

Click on the respective links below to learn next steps, review the stray animals in our care, and to post your lost or found pet to the Animal Humane Society Lost & Found Online Bulletin Board.

We provide the AHS Lost & Found Online Bulletin Board as a free public service to help reunite lost pets with their owners but do not assume sole responsibility for facilitating matches between lost, found and stray reports.

You are still responsible for checking the board and visiting your local animal control facilities and humane societies every day until your missing pet is found.

Wildlife can be brought to our Golden Valley facility. We have a trained team who can care for and rehabilitate injured or orphaned wildlife.

Do not attempt to capture an injured or unapproachable animal—domestic or wild. Call your local animal control or police department. They are equipped to handle animals in those situations.
