Complaints and the names of complainants directed to our Humane Investigations department are kept confidential. You may contact us during office hours via postal mail, e-mail, phone, or fax. During non-office hours, please leave a message and you will receive a response as soon as possible.

As in all criminal cases, the proper evidence and witnesses are required to successfully build a case for seizure and/or prosecution. When filing a formal complaint with us, please have this information available:

1. Location of the complaint (address and city).
2. Date(s) the complaint occurred.
3. A brief and specific account of the facts and circumstances involved.
4. Your name and a daytime phone number. We may need to follow-up with you in the future for additional information. This information is kept confidential and only used by the Humane Investigations department.
