TWO PERSON OR GROUP VOLUNTEERING

The Animal Humane Society often gets requests from persons wishing to volunteer as a team. Sometimes this is a parent-child partnership, an aide-client partnership, school groups and others. Due to the nature of the work at the Animal Humane Society, limited resources and often confined physical space, we are unable to accept volunteering teams of any number.

Each volunteer at the Animal Humane Society must go through the volunteer application process individually. Each volunteer at the Animal Humane Society must be able to independently fulfill the responsibilities of their role. Each volunteer at the Animal Humane Society will be scheduled individually. There are opportunities to contribute to the work of AHS off-site, which are appropriate and fun for volunteering teams.
