Suka's Success Story

Suka's Success Story

How often have you heard someone say, that dog acts just like a human? You can be sure that Suka the Alaskan malamute hears that all the time. Not only has he traveled cross-country, wrangled with bulls (well, not exactly, but he saw some) and chatted with a parrot, but he even has his own blog.

Life has not always been this exciting for Suka. About four years ago, he ended up at our Buffalo facility because someone found him wandering outside. He was with us for about four months before he finally got to join a new family. Now, Suka loves to meet other dogs at the dog park. He is taller than many of the children who come up to pet him, but he is very gentle and loving with everyone. Suka is best buddies with a parrot named Porgy. As a family, they traveled to Kansas where Suka got to see lots of wild animals. He chased some deer, saw some horses and watched the bulls out in the field on his daily walks. Recently, the family relocated to California, where Suka is blogging about how he misses the Minnesota snow but loves all the new friends he’s making on the West Coast.
