Animal Humane Society contacted me to ask for an updated expiration date for my debit or credit card. How should I reply?

There are several ways to reply.

  • Call Donor Services at (763) 489‐2210 during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5:00 p.m.).
  • If you received a letter requesting updated information, you may use the form and postage paid envelope to respond.
  • You may send Animal Humane Society a letter with the information. Our address is Sustainer Services, Animal Humane Society, 845 Meadow Lane North, Golden Valley, MN 55422

If my card expiration date changed but my card number did not change, why do I have to give Animal Humane Society my card number again?

Animal Humane Society adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to its handling of donor credit and debit card account information. Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations require that Animal Humane Society not store your actual credit card information on its computers, so when you provide your new expiration date we also need the card number.

I’d like to change the monthly amount I have been giving.

Please visit animalhumanesociety.org/change for a secure page where you can enter your new monthly amount; or call Member Services at (763) 489-2210 during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5:00 p.m.).

I’d like to make a single contribution in addition to my monthly giving.

Call Donor Services at (763) 489-2210 during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5:00 p.m.).

I’d like to update the credit/debit card for my monthly giving.

If you use the email option, please be certain you receive a message back from us letting you know that we have fulfilled your request.

I’d like to completely stop my monthly contribution.

You can stop your monthly giving at any time. Just call us at (763) 489-2210 during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). You may also send a message to giving@animalhumanesociety.org. If you use the email option, please be certain you receive a message back from us letting you know that we have fulfilled your request. Are my monthly donations tax deductible?

Your contribution to Animal Humane Society is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. In January, Animal Humane Society will send you written confirmation of your contribution during the previous calendar year. Please consult your tax advisor or attorney for information about specific situations.

Will Animal Humane Society sell my name to companies or other nonprofits?

Animal Humane Society we will not sell, trade or share your name, email address or other contact information with any other organization.
