$50 to save a life
On busy summer and fall days up to seventy cats can arrive at our shelters. We need help finding them homes.
Starting September 1, 2010, we are reducing the adoption fees for adult cats (one year of age or older) to $50! As with all of our adoptions, this fee includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchipping and more. For only $50 you can help give an adult cat a second chance and gain a special friend. (This offer is available only at the time of adoption, during the promotional dates and is not retroactive.)
In addition to discounted feline adoption fees, we're extending our Double the Love program. When you adopt one feline, the adoption fee for a second cat is waived.
Please help us find these loving cats a home. Consider bringing one into yours and tell your friends and family about these cat adoption programs.
Check out our adoptable cats today!
This $50 Cat Promotion may also be used in conjunction with one of the discounts below:
Customers can adopt one cat at the regular adoption fee and the fee will be waived for the second cat. This unprecedented program is available at all five locations: Buffalo, Coon Rapids, Golden Valley, St. Paul and Woodbury. Customers will have the first choice of a cat or kitten of any age with the second cat one year of age or older. Customers can choose two felines from any kennel or room at one of AHS Adoption Centers.
The Double the Love offer is available only at the time of adoption, during the promotion dates and is not retroactive. Both cats must be adopted at the same time.
Seniors 60 years of age or older may adopt a cat one year or older and Purina will cover the $50 adoption fee. Some restrictions do apply and a limited number of applications are available each month. Contact one of the Animal Humane Society’s five locations in Buffalo, Coon Rapids, Golden Valley, St. Paul and Woodbury for more information. All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated prior to adoption. Click for more information.
* We recognize that at times the number of cats available for adoption may be low because of the current success of these promotions. Please understand that it takes time to get each cat examined, spayed or neutered, and provided the care they need; however, we are working on improving our processes to place adult cats into our adoption centers more quickly and efficiently.
Over the coming days and months there will continue to be hundreds of adult cats in need of homes. The promotions are ongoing and will remain that way until we get them adopted. If you don't see the cat that's right for you today, check back with us as more cats are moved into the adoption centers.
Thank you for considering giving an adult cat (or two!) a new home.
