Shelter Tours

Explore Animal Humane Society with a visit to one of our five locations for a group tour led by one of our professional humane educators.  Learn more about the history of AHS, the animals we work with, the services we provide to animals and the community, and more.  Please be advised that AHS is a temporary home to shelter animals that have not had any therapy training.  In that regard, AHS Tours are educational in nature, and are not intended to be a therapeutic experience for tour participants.

Tours are offered throughout the year by appointment and can often be combined with a classroom program.  Tours can be scheduled on Monday from 12-8PM, and Tuesday-Friday from 10AM-8PM.

Advance reservations are required for all tours.  Our tour schedules often fill up several weeks in advance, so contact us as early as possible to schedule your group's tour.
